Frequently Asked Questions
Some of the questions we are commonly asked:
How much does DJ service cost?
The cost of our dj service depends greatly on what type of event you are planning, the day or date of the event and finally, how much planning and preparing the dj needs to do prior to the event itself.
Can my guests or I make music requests?
Prior to the event we encourage our clients to use our interactive online planning tools, using their unique client login password which is emailed to them. By using our CLIENT LOGIN, you can utilize all of our interactive tools such as the powerful music database to build your play and do not play list. You can also create an event timeline of activities and much more. During the event itself, we accomodate as many requests as possible, depending on the stage and progress of the preformatted program you and the DJ have planned in advance.
What time will my DJ arrive and setup?
The success of your event begins the moment your first guest arrives. Its important for the dj to setup and ready to accomodate your guests based on your pre-planning needs. For that reason, we encourage you to be sure that the dj can have access to the event venue at least an hour in advance.
How loud do you play the music?
How loud do you want it? We accomodate a wide variety of weddings, parties and events with diverse crowds, so the volume level as well as the music programming is based solely on your needs and the ambiance of the event. We use commercial grade, professional audio gear designed for music playback and public address at sound pressure levels sufficient to provide well balanced sound coverage for the particular venue we are setting up in to entertain.
Another Question?
I believe all DJs are (mostly) the same so why are their such difference in their pricing? Some are $500 for a wedding while others are $3000. What gives?
While some people may believe all DJs are the same, it could not be further from the truth. That is like saying all cars are the same and we know that is not true either. Like cars, DJs or DJ companies differ based on what they offer, how well they do their job and the products and services they offer to their propestive customer. Some DJs do it part time because it is "fun" and other make a living doing it. Do your homework, ask questions and take notes. Most of the time if you pay attention, you'll find that the more professional companies or Individual DJs will tell you how they differ and offer you much more for you money than those that are in it for "fun". If you have questions or would like to know more about the proffesion in general, make an appointment to speak to us. We'd be happy to answer your questions.
